American Oda with recommendations for the new Parliament and Government: Kosovo at a critical point

In an official report, Oda emphasises that “Kosovo is located at a critical point, where a bold, consistent and comprehensive economic strategy and strategy is needed”, adding that only through a unified vision can a sustainable “growth and greater economic stability. ”

The American Oda requires the adoption of a National Economic Development Strategy, which would include co-operation between public institutions, the private sector, civil society and international partners.

This strategy, according to Oda, should address key issues such as investment promotion, human capital development, digitisation and modernisation of infrastructure.

The American “Oda strongly encourages the new Parliament and Government to adopt a National Economic Development Strategy which unites public institutions, private sector, civil society and international partners about common goals. This strategy should be inclusive in the field of action, addressing key aspects like promoting investments, diversification of energy, development of human capital, export growth and modernisation of infrastructure, while also ensuring regulatory and fiscal predictability. The announcement highlights the importance of strengthening public-private dialogue, which guarantees that economic policies really reflect the needs of businesses and are built through comprehensive consultations.

Also, Oda calls for the design of financial support mechanisms for increased exports and the advancement of startup. “Digitalisation of private companies should be a priority in achieving a long-term competitiveness capacity”, the announcement said.
