Wood smuggling prevented in Nishevci region, two persons banned

The “Border Police during the implementation of tasks related to their work on the border belt between Serbia and the Republic of Kosovo, in the Pristina village area of Nishevc, have prevented a case of smuggling with goods, or even wood.
Police have managed to identify and detain two suspects suspected of carrying timber from Serbia's territory to the territory of the Republic of Kosovo. In the case, the prosecutor has been reported and in further co-ordination the case has been initiated under suspicion of committing two unauthorized criminal acts, unauthorized crossing of border crossings or borderlines and goods smuggling. Kosovo Customs has also been announced and the case will continue to be addressed”, police report said.
