Trump has changed US policy for Ukraine and Russia, climaxing with an explosive confrontation at the White House on Friday, when Trump rebuked President Volodymyr Zelenskiy for being sufficiently grateful for Washington's support.
Ukraine's Prime Minister Denys Schmyhal said Kiev still had means to supply its first-line forces. US military assistance was valuable and saved thousands of lives, he said, and Kiev would do everything it could to maintain relations with Washington.
“We will continue to work with the US through all channels available in a calm way”, Shmyhal said at a press conference. We have only one plan to win and survive. Either win or plan B will be written by someone else. ”
