“In the path of organisation at all locations in the city, the total number of people who have gathered from all parts of Serbia and those who have welcomed them in Belgrade has been around 31,000, according to police estimates. There have been no major incidents, and the ministry calls on all participants to continue protesting peacefully”, it is said in the statement, reports Rel, broadcast Periscope.
Serbian authorities have suggested they will do everything to maintain order, life and public property.
From yesterday in Belgrade, thousands of students and other people have started gathering to demonstrate against Serbian government and Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq.
The protest concerns the death of 15 people at the Novi Sad train station.
Organisers have said today's protest is expected to be among the largest ever organised in Serbia.
