Secretary - General NATO, Mark Rutte, will come to Kosovo on 11 March, NATO has officially announced.
He will come to Pristina along with NATO Deputy General Secretary Radmila Sekerinska, with whom KFOR and the NATO Consultative and Interconnector Team (NALT) will visit.
Rutte will also meet with President Vjosa Osmani and incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti for bilateral discussions.
With Osman, he will hold a joint media conference at 14:50.
In addition to Kosovo leaders, Rutte, along with ambassadors from the contributing partners of KFOR troops, will also hold meetings with KFOR commander, Major General Enrico Bardonini and NALT Director Brigadier General Christian Nights, and will have the opportunity to engage with KFOR and NALT personnel.
“They will also have an exchange with the chiefs of the European Union mission, Ambassador Aivo Orrav and the EU's Mission for Rule of Law in Kosovo (EULEX), Major General Giovanni Barbano, UN Secretary General's Special Representative and UNMIK Mission Chief Mrs. Caroline Ziadeh and OSCE Mission Chief Cornelia Taylor” taskman, said in the NATO communiqué.
Rutte will come to Kosovo after staying in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
