Mustafa: Kosovo needs a government to build bridges of co-operation with EU, US

He has expressed concern about the difficulties of forming a stable government and of the ongoing process, naming it not easy.

Mustafa said no political party has a concrete initiative leading to forming the government, where he says they prefer not to take responsibility in these unprecedented geopolitical changes.

I am not in a position to predict who will do the necessary majority to elect the government, but I note the process is not easy. It is a almost paradoxical situation, in which no subject has any concrete initiative leading to the formation of the government, because each combination seems to be a fragility and that they like not to take responsibility in these unprecedented geopolitical changes”, Mustafa said.

Among other things, he adds, the chances of creating a stable government are the same as those for moving to new elections.

“Perhaps I am being pessimistic, but I think the chance to form a stable government needed for Kosovo seems equal to the chance to go to new elections”, Mustafa concluded for Blic newspaper.
