According to Italian media Il Messavero , the young man who works at a construction company in San Polo di Piave, had finished his work day and stopped at a shop with his brother and several associates to buy a Vinci Grovea lottery ticket and win AW for 5 euros.
What started out as a simple hobby while drinking a coffee ended up giving an economic ease to the young man and his family, who now have to watch what they do with their money, broadcast Paparaci.
The winner told the media that he had not imagined that something like that could happen.
I sure didn't expect it. I had just returned home from work when, just to spend time and have a coffee, I bought a ticket, just to play”, Kryeziu told media.
After scratching the ticket and without the winning number, Kryeziu went to the reception staff to confirm the price: “When I saw the number on the bill, I asked in the ticket and confirmed: I had won”.
The first to hear the news was his wife, whom he immediately called.
Although they have not yet made a final decision on how to use the money, the young man mentioned that they are considering buying a new home or a car.
Everything remains to be seen. It just happened and I also have to focus on”, he said.
Despite unexpected revenues, Kryeziu has said he is not planning to quit his construction job.
“Work will continue as usual, of course”, he said.
The amount received by the winner will undergo a 20% tax, as expected at this kind of price. So the young man will have to pay 100,000 euros in taxes. /paparacy/
