Italian soldiers patrol along Kosovo borders

KFOR says patrol activities, both motorised and standing, are aimed at ensuring security and preserving constant presence in the area.

“KFOR continues to implement its mandate based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement, at any time, and KFOR works in close co-ordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union's Mission for Rule of Law in Kosovo (EULEX) in its respective roles as security reactors”.
