This is the second major strike this year, after that held on 24 January.
According to Serbian media, most institutions will be blocked. Protests in Serbia have started after the roof collapsed at a train station in Novi Sad, which left 15 people dead.
For these protests, Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vucic, has accused foreign intelligence services, while so far has resigned to Serbia's prime minister, Milos Vucevic and Novi Sad chairman Milan Djuric.
