For those who want an alternative app against the Instagram, a candidate is Flashes. The application presented by Bluesky appears to have shot at simple functions.
If you remember what Instagram was like before Meta turned it into a substitute for Facebook, you've got the idea of what it is. It's an app to share video photos, but instead of algorithm, you can select the main personal page.
As soon as you open the app, you can access Bluesky account or open a new account on Flashes. When using the existing account, the app loads the photos and videos of the people you follow. This works the other way: every post you share in Flashes also appears in Bluesky.
The app itself has several divisions as a key space, a search space for trind posts and topics, a space for creating new posts, reports and profiles. Flashes includes filters for your photos and personal pages you can use, but other adjustments are minimal.
The application is like a Bluesky version that focuses on photos and videos. For now there are several disadvantages. If you get reports on Bluesky, they'll be in Flass. If you delete the account on one app, it applies to the other.
Building a more personal social network that does not limit the user to a platform is one of Bluesky's goals. The X-combating application has begun to take off. In November 2024, it reached 20 million users, and in January it exceeded 30 million.
