Among the victims were singer Andrej Gorgievski, drummer Gjorgi Georgiev, pianist Filip Stevanovski and group photographer Aleksandar Efremov, who accompanied them to almost all their concerts.

The loss of Sarah Proykovsca, who was a supporter of the group and worked as a professor, was also confirmed later. Another victim was guitarist Aleksandar Kolarov.

Strumica Mayor Kostadin Kostadinov expressed the pain of losing his fellow citizen, Gjorgi Georgiev: “O beautiful children, looking for you in all the hospitals in the hope that we would find you... But then we received the tragic news that I would never want to hear. Strumica has lost a talented musician, a dear friend and a big-hearted man. His music and memory will live forever in our hearts”.

Andrej Gorgievski, one of the founders of the DNK, underwent the wounds suffered by fire. According to the evidence, he was last seen returning to discotheques to save the young inside, a heroic act that unfortunately cost him his life.

Last view from the scene
Just moments before the tragedy, Philip Stevanovski and Gjorgi Georgiev posted on social networks moments from their performance. They appeared happy, enjoying and practicing, and later filmed the club full of young people who were enjoying DNK music without knowing it would be their last performance.

DNK history of a group that left a trail
The DNK group, founded in the early 2000s by Vladimir Blazev Panco and Andrej Gorgievski, is one of the most important names of hip-hop and RénêB in Macedonia. Their music, combining emotional texts with modern urban sounds, has touched generations and addressed various topics such as love, daily life, and youth challenges.

With unforgettable songs like “falra”, “Ako utra with nema”, “Sce”, “Amija” and “Romania” , The DNK has created an important legacy in Macedonian music.

This tragedy has left a huge void in the musical scene and in the hearts of fans. Their memory will remain alive through the music they created and the passion they shared with the public. /Telegraph
