As the Macedonian Embassy in Belgium reports, the injured are being treated in four different hospitals in the cities of Brussels, Antwerp, Liezh and Charleroi.
Victims have been transferred to Belgium by special aircraft of Romania's Armed Forces, which has also transported four other people injured by fire for treatment in the Netherlands.
“Antonia, Maya, Petar and Dragoljub arrived in Belgium. Gratitude to the Belgium Government, especially to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, for all the support so far, as well as to Romania and the European Union that organised the special flight from Skopje to Brussels. Tomorrow is a new day, new hope for our new fellow citizens, I wish them rapid healing and health!”, said Macedonia's ambassador to Belgium, Metodija Belevski.
At the same time, a large number of citizens of Macedonia living in Belgium offered free housing and transportation to families of the injured, while the Embassy also provided translators who would help the injured and their relatives to translate into communication with medical personnel.
Otherwise, at the Brussels Embassy of RMV, a book of comfort has been opened in which citizens, as well as foreign citizens and diplomatic representatives, leave messages of comfort to victims of the tragic event in Kocan.
