Fire in Decan is under control, Emergency Management Agency reports

Emergency Management Agency has indicated on Sunday that an increase in fires at the country level has been observed.

The report reportedly one of the largest fires currently registered in the Decani municipality, at the site called “Ceeli”, where a area of straw and bush is involved.

According to the agency, the fire is under control.

After the announcement received, NJPSH-Decan and NJPSH-Ynik forces, members of the Forest Agency, as well as volunteers have been mobilised. Teams are working intensively on extinguishing and preventing further fire spread, currently, fire is under control”, the announcement said.

The Emergency Management Agency has appealed for caution added to all citizens, especially during the dry season, avoiding the lighting of natural fires and immediately reporting every suspicious case in the emergency 112.
