The Kosovo People's Movement, headquartered in Switzerland and Germany, reports that in co-operation with several Albanian associations in Belgium at the Place-du-Luxembourg site of the EU Chief Centre in Brussels, Belgium, in honour of Women's Day, dated 08. Mars 2025, organises the Memorial rally to honour Albanian women and girls.

This gathering according to organisers is held especially for those of the Jasharaj family, where with Serb violence and massacres of dates -- 5, 6 and 7, March 1998 in Preskaz and Kosovo -- heroicly collapsed on the altar of freedom.

It becomes known that at the same time a peaceful protest is held regarding the violence exerted on Albanians in areas where they live from their antiquity and who are still occupied by foreign discrimination powers, as we have: Serbia, Macedonia, Montenegro and Greece!

This violence exerted even so today on Albanians, by the same powers, continues to be Albanian Golgotha on their autochthons! To raise our voice of reason, to prevent systematic violence against the people left under foreign invasion, with the demand that they be accepted basic rights, such as living, breathing, and promoting in its native Albanian language, is the minimal thing that must be sought constantly in front of the EU and the entire world!” reports the report of the LPK's Organising Council.

The announcement states that bans on the use of their tongue, permanent tendencies of assimilation, those of the disappearance of historical facts, and the alienation of their facts and properties to the country where they live

This constitutes serious violation of basic human rights, which we consider should be disputed in the international political arena, especially those countries, such as the EU and other countries where invaders aspire to integration! The fact of a massive participation and support of this Memorial event and Protestet for our brothers' rights, not only does it greatly enjoy our national conscience, but it also gives us courage for our vision and efforts as an international community for freedom and justice everywhere in our ethnic lands”, says at the invitation of the Organising Council of the Kosovo People's Movement.
