State police in Albania have indicated that, in co-operation with American security agencies, they have managed to locate and arrest in the United States, an Albanian citizen who was on an international quest.
The reported release of the media reportedly had an arrest warrant from the Anti-Corruption Court and Organised Crime (GJKKO) to face charges and justice system in Albania.
Albanian “State F. L., 56, former Judiciary Police officer to Tirana's Attorney General Jurydiction, was on the run in Albania for criminal acts in the area of corruption and the release of state secret”.
“States F. L. He was extradited about 1500 this day. This operation for localisation, arrest and extradition of this citizen has come as a result of joint several-month efforts, between Albanian and American law enforcement agencies”, the report said.
State police thanked the international partners of US federal agencies DSS and ICE-ERO for all the work and maximum dedication in this extradition/deportation operation.
