This is the 20-year-old girl who escaped the fire in Kocan: My sister disappeared, I fell to the ground, people walked on my feet

Marija Taseva is the 20-year-old girl who was one of those injured by the fire at Kocan discotheque.

She testified in front of the Interior Ministry camera that there were crowds at the fire and that she fell to the ground as she was going out.

Everybody started running out. Everyone was trying to escape. My sister's missing. We can't find her in any hospital. Now we wait here to see if we will, if not, eventually in Skopje. Going out, I fell to the ground and others walked on me, just on my cheek, I was”, Taseva said.

Her father says they don't have information about the second girl, who is 25.

We remember that 51 people have lost their lives because of this tragedy, while injured people in hospitals are between the ages of 14 and 25.
