The Centre for Media Research, a conservative organisation, published a report on Wikipedia's list for “reliable resources”.

The report said that all American news pages that the centre classified as right had failed to meet Wikipedia criteria as a trusted source for administrators. These included “York Post”, “Breitbart News”, “The Daily Caller” and “News”, according to The Times.

By comparison, the report added that Wikipedia considered about 84 per cent of what the centre considered liberal media, including “Mother Jones”, “Proublica”, “NPR”, “The Atlantic” and “The Guardian”.

“Wikipedia has now become a joke,” said Dan Schweider, deputy head of the centre, in a statement. “The reactors and its radical staff show their contempt for conservatives in almost everything they add to descriptions. ”

Wikipedia did not immediately respond to a request for comment. It was founded in 2001 by Jimmy Wales and Larry Sanger as a free source, written and maintained by a community of volunteers based on public donations to function.

In a page titled “, the reliable/reliable/ constantly reliable sources”, the page published a traffic system that recognises resources as generally reliable, without consensus, generally uncertain, avoided for use and disfellowshipped.

Wikipedia editors, believed to number hundreds of thousands, are responsible for determining the reliability of resources.

“The Times” and “The Sunday Times” are considered “generally reliable “by this category.

In an article written by the editorial board, “The York Post” called for technology companies to block Wikipedia until it stops “scensorisation and spread of densifications. ”

For Wikipedia, true is now synonymous with left,” wrote the editorial board of “York Post”, citing the fact that Wikipedia is often the highest result in Google research.

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, has increasingly targeted this page in recent months for allegedly misrepresenting it and promoting left ideology.

On January 21st, he posted several times on X for this page after she edited his page to include a reference to a Nazi salute he made during an inauguration meeting.

“Help close Wikipedia until the balance is restored”, he wrote, offering $1 billion to change its name to “Dickipedia”.

Responding to Musk's posts, Wales, cofounder of the site, wrote that Musk was disappointed only because Wikipedia is not for sale.

“If Elon wanted to help, he would encourage wise and kind intellectuals he agrees with to engage”, Wales wrote.

According to Semrush, a digital marketing platform, Wikipedia was the fourth most visited page in the world in November, with about 6.7 billion visits.
