The Office for Media of Specialised Chambers in The Hague has reiterated that they cannot provide details about Hashim Thaci's state of health.
In a written reply, they have suggested that this is due to respect for his privacy.
This is a legal obligation to protect their rights. According to the DHSK's Pre-migration Order, the extraction of pre-meditent medical data is possible only with their preliminary consent based on information, in line with EU standards for protecting data”, it says in written response.
However, this office has stressed that Thaci is continuing daily activities at the detention facility.
