There are not many details at present, but it is expected that the meeting in Riyadh will be held that could pave the way for a summit between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin in the coming weeks.
This follows a call between the two leaders last week, in which they agreed to start talks to end the war.
Dialogue has sparked concern in Ukraine and throughout Europe that they are being excluded from negotiations, promoting a meeting among leaders yesterday in Paris.
European leaders pledged to invest more in defence, and to lead in providing security guarantees for Ukraine.
