Mehmetaj a few minutes ago through a Facebook post said the prosecution has announced that “wiretaps that were found to journalist Vehbi Kaitazi in the car are AKI of”.
The prosecution said these unconfirmed statements are not in anyone's interest, much less justice.

The Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina, with the aim of clarifying public opinion, reports that it exposes the statements of journalist Lirim Mehmetaj that the prosecution has confirmed any news concerning the deployment of GPS equipment in the V.K. journalist's car, such statements are of no concern, much less justice.
Any communication and news from the prosecution will be announced to the public, as has happened in the past - through official channels.
The state prosecutor will continue in combating criminal acts and their perpetrators, and for that public opinion will be kept informed, such statements could undermine the integrity of investigations and do not serve whitewashing and investigating criminal acts.
