(a year ago)Tirana police have arrested six people who allegedly, against payments totalling up to 6 thousand euros, produced counterfeit American, Italian, English, Romanian and Albanian passports. The group of people trapped in its composition had 4 Albanians and 2 Kosovo citizens, along with passports, produced other identification documents as well as visas against values totalling up to 2 thousand euros.
From investigations by the economic-financial crime sector in Tirana Police, those arrested after receiving orders from persons expressing interest in false documents produced them on their two bases, established in Kosovo and Bulgaria.
During the operation, blue uniforms found 15 false documents of EU and US states, as well as other identification tools. Also arrested were seized and 7 mobile phones sent for expertise, having doubts that there are other persons involved in this criminal activity.
