Kosovo's National Public Health Institute estimates that polluted air in our country poses one of the major risks to public health, directly affecting the health of individuals and collective health.
According to the IKSHPK, the effects of polluted air start at an embryo and can continue throughout life.
IK HOMEs revealed that young children are more touched by contaminated air.
“What is air pollution? The presence of harmful substances in the air that negatively affect health and environment”, reports I KSHPK.
Moreover, in 2019 the world's air pollution caused 6.7 million deaths, of which 85 percent of disease, not infectious.
