Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani, at the invitation of a group of American congressers, travelled to Washington, D.C., to participate in the Morning National Prayer and to give a speech at one of the main events of this American Congress organisation.
Within the framework of this event, which gathers thousands of congressers, politicians, businessmen and civil society representatives from around the world, Osman will deliver the main speech by international representatives within the framework of International Lunch. In this case, it will talk about the journey of the people of Kosovo from the most difficult days to today's successes, stressing the unique trust and sustainability of our citizens.
“While in Washington, President Osmani will also hold meetings with US congressers and US administration officials, with the focus on strengthening the strategic partnership between Kosovo and the United States of America, as well as advancing our country's Euro-Atlantic aspirations”, the Presidency announced.
“National Morning Prayers are a six- decade-old tradition, where top American officials, members of Congress, politicians and military leaders, and guests from many countries in the world for joint prayer” are gathered each year, the announcement says.
