Police have announced that from February 17th to 23rd, they have increased presence and control in all of the country's roads, with the aim of increasing security in road traffic and preventing accidents.
According to the PK, the search has focused on trucks and buses, with all 362 fines being imposed on various countertakes.
“Within week's activity plan ROADPOL 2025 (The European Road Police Network), which has been conducted from February 17th to February 23rd 2025, police have increased presence and control in all the country's roads with the aim of increasing road traffic and accident prevention, where the focus has had control of the transport means of goods and travellers “Camion & Autobus”, with cases from traffic units engaged in this plan realised 1,168 points of vehicle control where 1,367 vehicles of goods and <x> and buses were checked, where 363x> irregularities were identified against fines were reported in a different municipality.
