THE sad news of Alban Bujar's death, the extraordinary photoreporter, who with his art and devotion gave voice to our history, confessing through images the pain, sacrifice, truth, and aspirations of our people.

Alban Bujar was not just a photorector, but a witness of the most difficult times of our journey to freedom. Through his objective, he made the pain of our people immortal during the war and then the hope of a free Kosovo.

Meanwhile, frequent meetings with Alban Bujar during the activities of the Democratic League of Kosovo gave us the opportunity to recognise him not only as an extraordinary photorepusser, but also as a man of high virtues. With a calm, respectful approach, he could be present everywhere, without notice, but always grasping the moment of truth.

His loss leaves behind a huge void, not only for his beloved family but also for the media community, for all who knew and appreciated his work.

At these serious moments, on behalf of the entire membership of the Democratic League of Kosovo and mine, I express my sincere condolences to family, friends, colleagues and the entire media community.

Alban Bujar's work will always live in the history of the Republic of Kosovo.
