The head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) in America, Elon Musk, voiced support for the charges against Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that gives priority to power and money on peace, while the United States wants to negotiate to end the war.
“Zelensky doesn't want peace, he wants money and power”, a user of the X platform, which Musk responded to by a nickname “100 percent”, apparently signaling approval.
Although Musk was originally a federal government assistant, he was increasingly adding to his “weight on the international stage, entering European policy and supporting far-right politicians from Britain and Germany.
Musk has already made similar statements when he has mocked the Ukrainian leader's calls for Western aid to defend against Russia, but has also said Ukraine is an independent country and cannot be forced to sit at the negotiating table with Russia.
In the first days of this war, Mousk donated the Starlink satellite internet to Ukraine to replace the communication services destroyed by Russia and was hailed as one of Kiev's most important allies.
But that story took a turn after Musk started spreading what Ukraine said was pro-Russian propaganda through the X network.
Russian and American negotiators met yesterday in Saudi Arabia, while Zelensky claimed negotiations were held without Kiev's contribution or knowledge.
