Sopt when Kosovo celebrates the 17th anniversary of its declaration of Independence, Tirana is dressed in symbolic colors of the newest state in Europe.
In a sign of solidarity and brotherhood between the two countries, a huge Kosovo flag has been unveiled in the centre of the Albanian capital, creating a festive and exciting atmosphere for this important day.
The blue-colored flag and Kosovo's golden map, decorated with the six stars representing its communities, is located in one of Tirana's most frequent space, attracting the attention of citizens and visitors.
In addition to the Kosovo flag, the Albanian capital's centre waves even the red flag as a common symbol of history, culture and intermediate ties between Albanians on both sides of the border.
Tirana, which has always been near Kosovo in its key moments of history, has organised various activities this year to mark the anniversary of independence.

Numerous citizens have shared images and videos from this significant moment, experiencing this event with special emotions.
For many of them, this symbolic act reinforces the sense of unity among Albanians and underscores the importance of February 17th as a historic date for the nation.
The celebrations are expected to climax on February 17th, when Albanian capitals -- Pristina and Tirana -- are expected to hold grand activities to honour this marked day.
