In honor of the 17th anniversary of Independence, the raising of the flag of the Republic of Kosovo in Daley Plaza Square has been made in Chicago, along with the flags of the United States and the city of Chicago.
Consulate Leader Drilon Zogaj, accompanied by First Secretary Fatmir Thurmanaj during the ceremony, have thanked the leaders of the Albanian Community in Illinois-Albanian Community of Illinois for the annual footnote of Kosovo Independence, as well as their permanent dedication to Kosovo and our fellow countrymen in Illinois.
During the day, representatives of the Consulate have held a meeting with the leaders of the Albanian Community in Illinois, the Dardania Association, representatives of Chicago Police members from the Albanian American Law Editors' Association in Illinois, as well as members of the community of countrymen.
