A structured criminal group dealing with counterfeiting US passports and EU documents against profit has been destroyed during a wide police operation.
The group consisted of Kosovo and Albanian citizens.
As a result, six people have been arrested and 15 suspected documents as forged, including American, Italian, English, Romanian and Albanian passports and ID cards.
Two citizens from Kosovo and four others with residences in Tirana have fallen into handcuffs.
The forged documents were produced in Kosovo and then brought to Albania, where they were sold. American passports cost up to 3 thousand euros, while those in the EU ranged from 2,000 to 2,500 euros.
“Inventions found that the group provided forged documents to citizens seeking to cross illegally to countries seeking visas”, Tirana police today informed.

Doksany Conversion 35, Resident in Tirana
Cameron Gilani, 57, resident in Prizren
Getaar Luzha, 28, resident of Kacanik
Cameron Duka, 56, resident in Tirana
Leonard Basha, 58, resident in Tirana
Erina Doksani 20 years old, resident in Tirana
Arrests charged with “Counterfeit documents”, “falsification of IDs, passports or visas” and “Help for illegal crossing of limit”. Investigation materials have been handed over to the Tirana Prosecution for further actions.
During this operation, they were seized with the quality of material evidence:
-3 passports and 3 American IDs;
-2 passports, 2 ID cards and 1 Italian Commanding Permission,
-1 passport and 1 permission English;
-One Romanian leave;
-1 Albanian ID.
Along with alleged forged documents, 7 mobile phones and 1 vehicles were seized.
