The Turkish “soldiers assigned to the NATO-led Regional Command of the NATO-led KFOR mission conducted routine patrols in numerous municipalities throughout Kosovo. These efforts are part of KFOR's daily mission to ensure a safe and secure environment for all communities living in Kosovo”, KFOR reports.
KFOR reportedly continues to implement its mandate based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement at any time, and KFOR works in close co-ordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union's Mission for Rule of Law in Kosovo <x0 in the respective roles as security reactors.
