The Italian and Czech contingent of KFOR's Multinational Specialised Unit conducted regular training exercises with direct shootings to maintain their high operational readiness.
KFOR says these efforts are part of the daily mission to support all communities within Kosovo.
“KFOR continues to implement its mandate based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement at any time and impartially. KFOR works in close co-ordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union's Mission for Law Rule in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responseors”.
