Martens says coalition talks are necessary and that new elections in 2026 are possible.
He also noted the possibility that the US-backed opposition will try to bring Kurt to the opposition.
“Can't become reliable forecasts on how future coalition talks can go, as many combinations are possible, including the possibility of opposition parties (with US support) trying to form a coalition to exclude Kurti from power”, Martens has said.
