EU top diplomat Kaya Kallas has expressed her strong support for Ukraine.

Kallas has said Ukraine is Europe.

“Ukrainian is Europe! We stand near Ukraine. We will add our support to Ukraine so that they will continue to fight against the aggressor. Today it became clear that the free world needs a new leader. It is up to us, Europeans, to meet this challenge. ”

These statements come after a severe clash between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the White House.

During the meeting, Trump accused Zelensky of ingratitude and demanded that Ukraine make concessions to Russia to achieve peace, while Zelensky refused, citing war crimes committed by Russia and stressing that compromise was impossible.

As a result, the planned press conference was cancelled, and the proposed agreement on rare minerals between the US and Ukraine was not signed.
