News confirmed in a written answer to KP by CEC spokesman Valmir Elezi. “You can confirm that during today's day, Thursday (February 13th) has begun the counting process at the Municipal Counting Centres in the Suhareka, Ferizaj and Vushtrri municipalities, meanwhile, counting will begin during the afternoon at other centres in the Kacanic municipalities, Novoberda, Prizren, Shtime and Junik”, Elezi has said.

According to him, “The process of counting the votes of candidates for MPs and verifying the votes of political subjects from the forms which have been completed at the polls has started on February 11th and 12th in the CKN municipalities: Decan, Gjakova, Drinas, Gjilan, Fushe Kosova, Kamenica, South Mitrovica, Lipjan, Obilic, Pristina, Skenderaj, Shtrpca, Vittina, Ranillug, Partesh, Klokot, Northern Mitrovica and Hani of Elezi<1>. The counting process has not yet begun at the QKNs of Dragash, Istog, Kline, Leposaviq, Rahovec, Peja, Podujevo, Zubin Potok, Zvecan, Malisheva, Mamusa and Gracanica, where the latest technical and administrative preparations are being made.

According to the CEC, during the voting-counting process of candidates for MPs, the verification of votes of political subjects from forms that have been completed at the polls after counting votes for political subjects will be made.

This verification has been envisioned with sublegal acts that have been approved by the CEC since the announcement of the election date, and of course it will remove all dilemmas that were created during problems in publishing preliminary results for political subjects.
