Croatia's Defence Minister Ivan Anusic, within the framework of the Munich Security Conference in Germany, has also met with US Deputy Defence Secretary for European and NATO Policy David Baker.
Anushi has said that at this meeting she has stressed that the key to Southeast Europe's security is Kosovo and that the American Army's presence in Kosovo through KFOR is very important.
“I met with Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defence for European and NATO Policy David Baker. I specifically stressed that the key to security in Southeast Europe is Kosovo and that the American presence through KFOR is extremely important”, Anuspic wrote.
He has also shown that Croatia is strongly committed to equipment and modernisation of the Croatian Army, along with the US, saying Croatia is equipping the Armed Forces with Bradley, Black Hawks and the Himars missile system.
