The CEC currently has a problem with the election results system, and that is unacceptable. All citizens have eyes towards the outcome because through these elections our future is determined. Throughout the day, we praised citizens for their participation, electoral process and organisation, but what is happening at the end of the day gives a bitter taste to the whole process.

Such a situation not only creates confusion but also opens up new discussions about the possibility of misinterpreting results and suspicions of misuse. In a functional democracy, transparency and credibility in the election process are fundamental and today, this has been questioned.

Despite the outcome, I hope that sound deputies and a new government that is not behind reproach, insults and polarisations come out of this process, but that identifies the daily problems of citizens and works from day one. In the next election, work must speak for itself!
