The duet was broadcast on Wednesday evening at the opening of the annual service “Together at Christmas”, organised by Kate and held at Westminster Abkey.
Kate and Charlotte performed the work Holm Sound of Scottish composer Erland Cooper, a piece of music that, according to the royal palace, they often practice together at home. Cooper was present during the shoots and offered instructions during the census.
The central theme of the fifth edition of the service was the importance of love and solidarity. In a letter to those in attendance, Kate stressed the value of the simple <x0->acts of care” in times of uncertainty.
This is not the first time that Kate appears as a pianist at this event, since in 2021 she had performed with singer Tom Walker. /Periscope
