Even though the app doesn't give an announcement confirming this, a hidden option in Viber can tell you if someone blocked you. Just note some minor changes that occur when the crash occurs.

The first sign is the disappearance of a person's profile picture. If you've seen the picture before and now a gray silhouette appears, it's a strong sign that contact has blocked you. The second signal relates to message status.

When you're trapped in Viber, your messages look like they've been sent, but they never get status “sent to” Instead of two purple signs, only one gray sign remains, no matter how long you wait.

But what many users do not know is that the final confirmation is concealed in an option within the contact account. If you log in the person's account and see that the “option is disabled through Viber”, this indicates that you cannot call because you are blocked. Once the contact is removed, the call button becomes active again.

To check: Open up the conversation with the person you suspect has blocked you, send a brief message, and access his/her account. If you don't see the account photo, the first “status, and the message doesn't get two signs of control, it's almost certain you're stuck in Viber.

It's important to know that the block only applies inside the app. That means the person can still contact you through SMS, traditional calls, or other applications, but not within Viber.

Even though Viber doesn't send any blocking notices, if you can't see the profile photo, status and call option, then you're probably stuck on the app.
