A study published in the magazine Neurology has found that people with certain blood groups may have a higher risk of stroke before the age of 60.

Analyzing nearly 17 thousand patients and 600 thousand healthy people, researchers have found that GM1 carriers are 16 percent more likely to strike before the age of 60.

In contrast, individuals with the O1 gene have 12 percent less risk, while finding B is linked to 11 percent of the risk.

It is important to note that this relationship has been observed only in the shocks that occur before the age of 60; no significant connection has been seen among older ones, suggesting that shock mechanisms vary between young and old.

Scientists suggest that these differences may be linked to blood clots and the function of blood vessels.

However, they stress that the overall risk remains low, and people with group A do not need special chases, as most of the shocks occur after the age of 65. /Periscope
