Police officer Idriz Gashi today had ended his suspension after he was reportedly attending the PDK election gatherings.

Citizens' legal security is at serious risk.

Police investigators Idriz Gashi, at 12:22 today, has returned the weapon and police legitimacy after the suspension deadline had expired.

After the end of his work schedule, however, a new, illegal decision has been handed over to him for continuing the arrangement of suspension, without deadlines, and with no right to complaint.

This act constitutes a serious violation of the law, as extending the measure of suspension can only take place within the set term. Moreover, this situation clearly shows elements of a persecution against an investigator engaged in dealing with major corruption cases.

Such a violation is unacceptable and violates not only the integrity of the Kosovo Police, but also trust in the country's entire judicial system.
