Former KFOR doctor shows what he saw the dead person in the former MUP building in Prizren

Dr. Helmut Schreckenbauer during his testimony at The Hague, in the trial process against former KLA leaders, has shown what he saw in the late person for whom he filed the postmortem report in the former MUP building in Prizren in June 1999. In a photograph presented, the witness claimed that just as the image is in it [...]
In a photo that was presented, the witness claimed that as the image is, he remembered that he found the dead person.
We can see a bruise in the person's chest in this picture because the person is still wearing”, the witness said.
And in another photograph of the same person, he said that the deceased is placed in a position with the stomach down as well as in the upper part of it there are wounds thought to be caused by powerful objects.
It looks like the bruises are old and may have been caused to the person while he was alive”, he said.
The Witness was asked whether any of the injuries fit the items found in the building. He said it is possible to use wooden sticks or even metal instruments.
The “It is possible that these wooden sticks or metal instruments may have been used to cause these injuries”, he said, reports “The Justice Trust“.
The defence was opposed to that part, which said the witness is not pathologist and cannot speak about this part.
Initially the witness was asked that he remembers the state of mind of the persons who were banned in the building.
“Not in detail, not in detail. They had no life - threatening wounds, they were smart, we could talk to them. Naturally they were frustrated, stressed because of the fact that they were wounded, but I do not remember anything concrete about their mental state”, Schkenbauer said.
He said that some of them had slaughter as well as cuts that are suspected of being stabbed or other sharp tools.
Some of them had wounds that looked like stabs or other sharp tools; on their thighs, on their arm, had cuts in their head and wounds that appeared to be caused by blows. They had bruises on the abdomen or abdomin but also on the chest”, he said.
In the photo that was released, the witness said he saw three of the injured and one soldier offering medical treatment.
He said this was the first treatment they had when they arrived at the scene and these people found outside the MUP building.
So the prosecutor's questions ended, while Thaci's defence, Veselin and Selimi had no questions, with questions continued that Krasniqi's, represented by lawyer Victor Baieu.
