Haradinaj seeks citizens' trust, promises Kosovo's NATO membership, salary a thousand euros

Alliance for the Future of Kosovo Chairman Ramush Haradinaj has declared he will win in the February 9th 2024 elections, stressing that his priority is Kosovo's NATO membership.

In an interview for Online Economy, Haradinaj has criticised Prime Minister Albin Kurti for the isolation Kosovo has experienced and the provision of the European Union under sanctions.

Haradinaj has promised that if he wins confidence, he will offer a direct plan for membership, not a prolonged partnership for peace.

“I believe that we will return to the winner, not in isolated people convicted in sanctions, not in people who are held responsible for what we have done, Serbia attacks us with terrorist attacks and does not punish Serbia, but Kosovo. So the first is NATO membership. I have been working carefully for six years now and I believe that we are close to membership if I have the confidence to lead the Government of Kosovo, I have declared that we will have the membership plan, which is the contract for direct membership, not the partnership for peace that is extended to the first 100 ditat”, Haradinaj has declared.

The AAK chairman has guaranteed that if he comes to power there will be no pensions under 500 euros and salaries below 1,000 euros.

“will simultaneously return to economic development to other education, health sectors. I am convinced that in Kosovo there will be dignified and pension salaries, and there will be no pension under 500 euros, I stay on it, and there will be no salary under 1,000 euros because it is out of the logic of the salary market under 1,000 euros, that is causing the flight of our young people. All of this is serious and I believe that they also believe in what I say, but they're also supporting us at”, he stressed.

Haradinaj has promised that, if he gains confidence, he will offer a direct plan for membership, not a prolonged partnership for peace.

For many citizens it has been a little bit less clear whether we can enter NATO directly, but gradually it is understood what I'm talking about, not through the peace partnership plan that could lose 10 years, but the action plan to enable membership within a year I believe I have this advantage. I believe that this is the case, and Kosovo will be in Kosovo, as in the south as in the north, in all areas of Kosovo will be applied law”, the AAK chairman has launched.

Otherwise, in February 9, 2024, The AAK will compete in the coalition with the Social Democrat Initiative party and other parties.
