Kurti expects his party to exceed the results of 2021, and considers that expectations for half a million votes “are real”.
We don't see the possibility of having post-election coalitions, so we've made them pre-election, first with the Guxo party and also with the Alternative party, with which we've co-governed in four years and have the best experiences and impressions of each other. Parties that have long been in government in Kosovo for two decades, sometimes two of them, sometimes all three together, The PDK, LDK and AAK, in these four years I have not seen that they have reformed, and when we realize that, especially in recent months, the attacks on our political subject, on our political subject's exhibits, on our good and democratic governance, we do not see the possibility of having any coalition in the next term, which will not be necessary, says Kurti.
In the February 9th elections, Vetevendosje Movement competes with a joint list with “Gux” and “Alternative”.
We expect to exceed the 2021 outcome because four years ago we had 438 thousand votes and I believe it's real to expect growth, so we've put this half-million vote target in the February 9th 2025 elections. We are very happy that we have had institutional stability, we are the first government to bring the mandate to the end, and I wish it would be a good start of institutional stability in the Republic of Kosovo, unlike previous governments in independent Kosovo that did not complete the mandate. We need governments whose vows are four years in full mandate”, says Kurti.
