The European Union has criticised Kosovo due to the closure of parallel structures in the north, as it has said, these actions clash with Kosovo's obligations to the EU.
The EU has also cited measures against Kosovo, saying that since the conclusions are that the EU will gradually remove measures parallel to Kosovo's steps for escalation of tensions in the north, “these actions are not favourable to this end”.
Kosovo's recent <x0) actions against and the closure of structures supported by Serbia, carried out amid the election campaign for the February 9th parliamentary elections, face its obligations to the EU under the normalisation process. E ULEX is monitoring the conduct of these last actions in line with its” mandate, the EU response reported.
The EU has said further that the status of Serbia-backed structures is projected to be resolved through dialogue.
Kosovo must demonstrate and stay consistent with its obligations under the EU-enlightened dialogue and its recent re-angement to it”, it has said further.
Kosovo police on Wednesday have closed Serb parallel municipalities in Lipjan, Obilic, Pristina, Fushe-Kosovo, Vushtrri, Novoberda, Kamenica, Viton, Rahovec, Skenderaj, as well as mail and illegal tax offices.
