US authorities are investigating the case, while Washington National Airport Ronald Reagan has halted all flights.
What happened?
Around 9:00 Wednesday, local time, a company plane PSA Airlines, operating as American Airlines 5432, crashed into an American Army helicopter as he approached Ronald Reagan Airport, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
Passenger Airplane, Bombarder Type CRJ700, headed for Kansas.
There were 60 passengers and four board members, according to American Airlines.
The Pentagon said the helicopter was Sicorsky H-60, who was off from Virginia. Three soldiers were on board, according to the TV network, CBS.
