A delegation from KiE to visit Kosovo to assess election campaign, political climate before February 9th

The delegation in question is expected to assess the election campaign and the political climate ahead of the February 9th Parliamentary Elections.
While in Kosovo, the delegation is expected to meet with Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurtin and Kosovo Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca.
The Council of Europe delegation is also expected to meet political party leaders in Kosovo.

Parliamentary elections in Kosovo are expected to be held on 9 February this year.
Meanwhile, a 20-member delegation from the Council of Europe will travel to Kosovo to observe the elections.
During 2022 Kosovo applied for membership in this international organisation, but since then Kosovo failed to become a full member of the Council of Europe, though it successfully passed two phases of membership.
