CEC approves ballot tomorrow, vote begins outside Kosovo on Thursday

The Central Election Commission will convene on Wednesday, where it will also approve the ballot sheet for the February 9th elections.

KEC spokesman Valmir Elezi confirmed this for RTKlive.

“> can confirm that following the withdrawal of the lots for ranking political subjects in the ballot, on January 8th, the CEC will review and approve the design and content of the Kosovo Assembly Election Programme, which will be held on February 9th 2025x1>, he said.

Meanwhile, voting is expected Thursday for registered voters outside Kosovo.

“After the CEC approves election balloting, the voting process outside Kosovo will begin on 9 January for registered voters to vote via mail. Also, approval of the ballot can also serve political subjects during the” election campaign, Elezi told RTKlive.

The election campaign will officially begin on 11 January and last until 7 February, until citizens turn to the ballot boxes on 9 February.
