The Central Election Commission accredited the first group of policy observers certified for participating in the Kosovo Assembly Elections, which will be held on February 9th 2025.
It's 2,274 observers who belong to the subjects of four different political subjects:
) Democratic Party of Kosovo HINA PDK, 95 observers;
The Democratic League of Kosovo ? LDK, 1,725 observers;
The Koalicija Vaca, 234 observer; and
Democraticska Stranka, 220 observers.
Application deadlines:
Certificate political subjects, NGOs, government and intergovernmental organisations, specialised international organisations dealing with elections and protection of human rights, the media and representatives of foreign countries can online submit their request for the applicant of observers within the deadlines, as follows:
• The deadline for handing over the request for accreditation of certified political subject observers will be completed on January 15th 2025;
• The deadline for handing in demand for accrediting local NGO monitors will be completed on January 25th 2025;
• The deadline for handing in requirements for accrediting observers of government organisations intergovernmental organisations will end on January 25th 2025;
• The deadline for handing over demand for local and international media accreditment will be completed on February 4th 2025;
• The deadline for handing over the request for accrediting foreign-state representatives will be completed on 25 January 2025;
• The deadline for handing over the demand for accrediting observers of international organisations will be completed on January 25th, 2025.
To facilitate the application, the CEC has operated the online platform: https://apponi.kqz-x.org
How is the application conducted?
Step one:
The authorised representative (of the nongovernmental organisation, the government/resistant organisation, the international organisation specialising in elections and human rights; the media; and the representative of foreign countries) must online complete the data required on the platform: https://affrz-x.org.
Step two:
After the application, the Office for Recording, Certificate and Financial Control of Political Subjects (ZRCKFSP) will review and approve or not the initial application. After confirming the application, Z. The RCKFSP, will forward through email the authorised representatives to access the online platform in order to bring together information about the individuals of the organisation / media that are seeking to be accredited.
