Venezuela's Supreme Court has ordered Tik-Tok to pay a fine of $10m within eight days, due to “negression” of the platform in preventing the spread of viral challenges that have resulted with fatal consequences.

According to the court, Tik-Tok has not taken appropriate measures to prevent dangerous publications, which have caused death and other damage.

With this amount of money, the Kararaca authorities will create a <x0fond for the Tik-Tok” victims, which is aimed at paying off psychological, emotional and physical damage caused, especially to children and teenagers, writes A2.

This decision comes after an investigation that began on November 21st, following the death of three teenagers and the poisoning of 200 others from these challenges.

A few days ago, the Government of Albania decided to stop Tik-Tok by one year, with Prime Minister Rama confirming at the latest news conference for reporters that the process for closing “rrugic of the neighbourhood” will last 6-8 weeks.
