first “Name: Andrey Syhbia foreign affairs minister of Ukraine”, lawmaker Yaroslav Jelesnyak announced on Thursday.
He added that 258 of the 450 lawmakers in the Ukraine Parliament voted for the appointment of EU praise.
The honour, deputy foreign minister, was nominated by President Volodymyr Zelensky during the day to replace Kuleban as foreign minister.
Lawmakers also approved the appointment of Olexiy Kuleba as deputy prime minister responsible for restoration and regional politics.
Dmytro Kuleba and several other cabinet members surrendered their resignations this week, after Zelensky hinted the cabinet change was inevitable.
Speaking of the future of Kuleba and the rest of the cabinet's 22 members, Zelensky said Wednesday that “we need new energy, and these steps have to do with strengthening our state in various fields”.
Kuleba has been one of the main faces of Kiev's efforts to gain international support since Russia began its unprotested invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
He has been named by many as a successful publisher of Ukraine's warnings that stopping Russian aggression is vital to Europe and the West, and of constant prayers for great military assistance and other aid to Kiev by NATO members to defend against Russian attacks.
Zelensky has said there will be more changes in Government, trying to strengthen it and reap results that the country needs.
He also said Ukraine needs more interactions between the central government and communities, specifically during preparations for the winter season. /rel
